“Wow! I was thrilled and amazed with our first visit to World of Smiles… which also happened to be my little guy’s 1^st ever visit to the dentist. We were greeted by name when we walked through the door and my little guy was so excited and made to feel so special. I wasn’t sure what to expect when we were called back and I was just in Ahhhhhh when we were. The TLC was incredible and I was shocked at how my child was just as much in Ahhhhhh and was such a good listener and hung on every word the hygienist said and the excitement she used with him showing him Dino’s teeth and the tools. Her TLC was so genuine and sincere. World of Smiles has got it down. Great job and thank you!!!”

“The kids – Emily, 8 and Nick, 6 have never liked the dentist and for the first time since they were very young (3 or 4) they don’t fear the dentist. In fact they actually kind of get excited. It used to be a very stressful event when it was time for a dentist appointment. Now it’s not and this has actually changed their behaviours at home regarding brushing, flossing and eating/drinking less sugar. My daughter had bad cavities (they call them “sugar bugs”) and needed dental work that no two year old would sit through. Dr. Stafford was great with my daughter and we were very fortunate that World of Smiles has an anesthesiologist come once a month to the office. It was so much better completing my daughter’s dental care in Dr. Stafford’s awesome office as opposed to the hospital where we would have all been totally uncomfortable. From the front desk and great waiting room to Rosalea explaining insurance, payment options and the overall dental plan for my daughter this place is totally amazing! Definitely not what I remember dentist offices being like when I was a kid. I will never go anywhere else for my kids’ dental needs as long as I live anywhere in the Portland area. ~Marabeth, patient mother

“I was more stressed out about my son getting a filling than he was. I was amazed by how relaxed he continued to be with all the ‘new stuff’ surrounding him. That evening, I asked him how visiting the dentist was and he said ‘awesome’. Thank you!” - Kelly, mother of 2 boys.

Ryoko explained a funny story, “We always refer to Dr. Michelle as “Doctor”. Someone asked Sammy what the doctors name was. She paused for a second and said, ‘Must be the Queen of the smiles!’”

The most important part of the visit is that Dr. Stafford and her staff “have such a gentle attitude with kids”. – Lindsey, Mother of 2 toddlers.

When asked about what she likes about World of Smiles, Mrs. S (mother of a 3 year old) commented, “Gentleness, swift but not overly invading. We need more dentists like you! And we need more amazing offices!”

One mother stated, “I don’t think you need to advertise anymore since Sammy has been telling the whole world what a wonderful place the ‘World of Smiles’ is to get your teeth fixed. “

Mrs. B exclaimed, “My kids loved it at World of Smiles!”

The most important aspect of her son’s visit according to Mother Miller was “The ease and comfort for Connor. Thanks for being so great!”
