When should I start brushing my baby’s teeth?

Once the first tooth has erupted in the mouth brushing becomes important. Until the tooth has erupted it is still important to wipe out your child’s mouth with a “Spiffy” wipe which can be purchased online or a wet washcloth with just water. Doing this every morning and each night before bed will prevent early childhood caries. By developing these good oral hygiene habits early on, you will establish a routine for your child and make it possible for your child to live cavity-free.
